“It might squash all of us. The way we probably kill bugs all the time and don’t even know it. Just splat… and nobody cares.”

Griffin Theatre Company have made the decision to cancel our 2021 production of UFO by Kirby Medway & Solomon Thomas.

Thanks for your understanding.

The Griffs

At a golf course on the edge of town, a reluctant group of young people are employed to keep watch over a landed spacecraft. The UFO sits, silent, with lights flashing—for minutes, hours, days.

But just when they’re ready to give up… 👽🦆🕷️

Using exquisitely detailed scale models, UFO is a work of sci-fi theatre performed entirely in 1:8 miniature.

re:group collective’s Solomon Thomas has teamed up with writer Kirby Medway for this beguiling mix of video, stop-motion animation, and live theatre. We guarantee it—you’ve never seen a more realistic depiction of human-UFO relations on stage.
