Visiting Us

Experiencing the best in Australian storytelling has never been easier or more enjoyable (even though we may be biased!). Click here for more information on how to get to our home at the S,B&W Stables Theatre.

For more information about how we’re ensuring your safety at the theatre, please visit our COVID-Safety page. Please note that you’ll now be required to show proof of up-to-date vaccination to Griffin staff when checking in for your performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I reserve seats at Griffin?
Seating at the SBW Stables Theatre, Carriageworks and National Art School is general admission. You and your friends can book separately and still find a spot together on the night. When booking for Flat Earthers: The Musical at Hayes Theatre Co, you’ll be prompted to elect a seating preference online.

How do I purchase tickets as a gift?
A Griffin Gift Certificate makes a fabulous present and can be used to cover the cost of a subscription, single ticket or any dollar amount of your choosing. Visit our gift certificate page to find out more.

What happens if I’m running late to a performance?
Due to the infrastructure of our stage, for your safety and the safety of our company, Griffin doesn’t allow late entrances. If you’re running late, please email the Box Office at [email protected] to discuss further options.

How can I support Griffin Theatre Company?
Griffin Theatre Company wouldn’t exist with the generosity of our amazing community. If you’re interested in supporting us, you can donate, support one of programs, volunteer and attend our shows!

Can I exchange my tickets?
Tickets may be exchanged for $7, subject to availability, up to 24 hours prior to the performance. Griffin subscribers are entitled to unlimited exchanges (you read that right!).

Can I get a refund on my tickets if I can’t use them?
Unfortunately ticket refunds can only be done in select circumstances. Visit our Terms and Conditions for our full policy around refunds and ticket exchanges.

Where do I pick up my tickets?
As part of our Green Griffin Initiative, tickets will be emailed electronically. Griffin no longer prints physical tickets (think of all the trees we’ve saved!). Griffin’s presenting partners will also issue e-tickets, so keep an eye on your inbox!

What are your terms and conditions for purchasing tickets?
All our ticketing Terms and Conditions can be here.

I’ve missed my performance, what can I do?
Contact our Box Office at [email protected] to discuss your ticket options.

What is a subscription?
A subscription at Griffin is a way to save money, get additional benefits and see more Griffin shows throughout the year. Learn how to become a subscriber here.

I would like to supply feedback on the performance that I attended or the customer service I received, how do I do this?
We love to hear ways we can improve the Griffin experience for you, or better yet, share with the team what you enjoyed. To give feedback, email our team at [email protected].

I’m looking to get involved with Griffin artistically, who do I contact?
If you’re interested in working behind the scenes, see our Work With Us page for our current vacancies. If you’re looking to get involved in our artistic programs, productions and more, browse our Creative Programs page for the most up-to-date information.
