Is your August just crazy busy? Ours too!
We opened Kendall Feaver’s The Almighty Sometimes and it is really blowing people away. Find a couple of hours in your week to come up the hill and see an incredible first play from an extraordinary young playwright filled with great performances. It is rich and complex and moving… don’t take my word for it… read about it!
We are just about to launch our 2019 Season! The brochures arrived in the office today and they look awesome… but they’re totally top secret so I can’t show you. We launch on Monday 27 August!
We open The Misanthrope with our partners at Bell Shakespeare down at the Opera House on Friday 31st August. This new version by Justin Fleming is a real treat and the cast are great… a perfect spring play. Have a look at some rehearsal photos over here.
AND have you seen the new Griffin website? Thank you for all your patience over the years with our old site. We hope you love the new one as much as we do. And thank you to all the people who contributed to the making of this new site—donors, designers, creators and clickers. Subscribing should be a whole lot easier for the 2019 season… Christmas gifts anyone? It’s never too early!
