by Neil LaBute
3 - 25 April 2009
Darrell and Tim are two teenagers with so little purpose in their lives that the biggest question they face is whether to hang out at the zoo, the mall or the parking lot. But when Darrell discovers his girlfriend is cheating on him and Tim moves to defend her, there is nothing to break their momentum as all three speed toward astonishing cruelty and disaster.
A stunning portrait of the darker side of American suburbia, The Distance From Here takes a family legacy of neglect and hostility and shows its terrifying impact on the next generation.
