Your Tickets at Griffin

Tickets to all Griffin Theatre Company productions can be purchased on our website or by calling us on (02) 9361 3817 during business hours.

Booking fees are charged per transaction: $4 online and $6 over the phone. As a member of Live Performance Australia, we comply with the LPA Ticketing Code of Practice.

Please note that as of October 2021, all tickets will be sent digitally three days before your chosen performance.

Dynamic Pricing
Ticket prices can be dynamically adjusted, either up or down, based on real-time market demand, and without notice. Please contact the Box Office for up-to-date prices.

Concessions and Seniors
Concession prices are available with a full-time student card, Centrelink Pensioner concession card or Veterans’ Affairs cards. Seniors prices are available with an Australian Government-issued Seniors Card. You may be asked to provide proof with booking or at ticket collection.

Monday Rush
Our ever-popular $20 Monday Rush tickets are available online and over the phone on Mondays from noon, for that evening’s performance. First in, first served.

MEAA Pricing
Members of MEAA are eligible for discounted tickets at $40, to book these please contact our Box Office directly.

Group bookings
We are happy to organise group booking discounts for 8 people or more. Contact our Box Office team to discuss you group booking at [email protected].

Gift Certificates

A Griff-t Certificate is a unique gift, whether you’re bringing someone new to Griffin or treating a theatre aficionado.

You can purchase a 2020 Subscription Gift Certificate or Single Ticket Gift Certificate online or over the phone (02) 9361 3817 weekdays from 10am-6pm.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I reserve seats at the Griffin?
Seating in the SBW Stables Theatre is general admission so you and your friends can book separately and still find a spot together on the night. Griffin shows at other venues may have different seating policies.

Can I exchange my tickets?
Yes. Tickets can be exchanged for a $6 fee up to 24 hours before their intended performance (subject to availability). By becoming a Griffin subscriber, your first exchange per show is complimentary.

Can I get a refund on my tickets if I can’t use them?
Unfortunately ticket refunds can only be done in select circumstances. Visit our Terms and Conditions for our full policy around refunds and ticket exchanges.

Where do I pick up my tickets?
As part of our Green Griffin initiative, we’ve committed to going paperless to help reduce our carbon footprint. This means that we won’t be printing tickets for collection. Instead, when you arrive at the SBW Stables our Box Office team will ask for your name and ID in order to confirm your seats. Griffin shows at other venues may have different ticket policies.

What is a Subscription?
A subscription at Griffin is a way to save money, get additional benefits and see more Griffin shows throughout the year. Learn how to become a subscriber here.

What are preview performances?
Preview performances at Griffin are the first 4 performances of our Mainstage productions. They can be really exciting as they are the first shows the cast and crew have with an audience. Things may change during these shows in lead up to the official opening night and there is a chance the show may be paused by the stage manager. For this reason, tickets for preview performances are a cheaper than regular nights for this reason.
