This 8 week course will examine the fundamental tools with which to write and rewrite a play – how to clarify and strengthen your initial idea, how to hone your craft, and how to strengthen elements of your work where there are weaknesses. The course will also identify and examine each separate part of the playwriting process, explore what to do when you get writer’s block, consider what makes a play yours and original, whilst opening a discussion about what the industry wants now.
