Griffin Theatre Company, Belvoir St Theatre, Ensemble Theatre and Sydney Theatre Company are holding General Auditions for actors Monday 3 February – Friday 14 February 2025.
ABOUT
General auditions are open to Sydney based actors. This is an open call for performers of all backgrounds and experiences to meet and share their work with the Artistic Teams of the theatre companies. Although these auditions are not for specific roles in upcoming productions, they are an opportunity for actors to connect with Artistic Teams for consideration across their development and mainstage programs.
We are looking for actors who fit the below criteria:
The Companies promote workplaces that actively seek to include, welcome and value unique contributions from all people. AUDITION INFORMATION
Artists will be asked to prepare two short contrasting monologues and an a capella song (should the artist be comfortable singing) each no longer than two minutes in duration. Audition slots will be for 15 minutes only and will include discussion with the panel prior to presenting any prepared material.
The panel will be made up of members of Griffin Theatre Company, Belvoir St Theatre, Ensemble Theatre and Sydney Theatre Company Artistic Teams.
Auditions will be held at Sydney Theatre Company, Pier 4/5 Hickson Road, Walsh Bay.

Please attach a current CV and headshot with any submissions. We are unable to consider incomplete submissions.
If artists are currently represented by an agency, it is preferable that submission are made through the agent.
Please note the due to the large volume of submissions we receive, an application does not guarantee an audition. Should your application be successful, you will receive a date and time for your audition approximately two (2) weeks before your audition date. Once an audition date and time has been confirmed, it is unable to be changed.
